Haddenham village is served by a well-equipped supermarket, selling a wide range of fresh and tinned produce, hot food, beers and wine. The village has a first class butcher's shop, post office with banking facilities, two pubs, one serving food, gents' and ladies' hairdressers, beauty salon, take away food shop and fancy goods and book stores. There are also a number of fresh farm produce shops around the area selling local meat and vegetables. WHERE TO FIND US Old Porch House is situated three quarters of a mile out of the village. It is easily accessible from the A14, linking the A1 to the north and the A10, linking the M11 to the south. |

Ely is just 7 miles away and served by a fast train service to Stansted Airport and London's King's Cross and, in the opposite direction, to Peterborough with its fast connections to the north and Scotland. Cambridge is only 12 miles away and has a direct train service to London's Liverpool Street and, in the opposite direction, to Norwich. Stansted Airport is 45 minutes drive away and the Norfolk and Suffolk coasts are just over an hour by car. |
